You will have free time to explore this quaint little ‘village in the rainforest’. Activities and sights to see and do include The Heritage Markets, the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary and Birdworld (additional fee). On your return journey to Cairns enjoy the Kuranda Scenic Train with a Gold Class ticket. Wind through hand hewn tunnels, across bridges and around curves on the world famous Railway.

Race down the rapids of one of Australia's best rafting destinations; the Tully River. Departing from Cairns, you'll soon be on your way for one of the best and most invigorating experiences in Far North Queensland.
Raft your way through awesome grade 3 and 4 rapids which will have you finishing the experience feeling like a professional. No prior experience is required as the operator will provide all necessary tuition to ensure you enjoy your journey safely. With all equipment supplied as well as a hearty dinner at a traditional Qld country pub, you will be well catered for on this full day adventure. Each raft is controlled by a highly trained river guide, who teaches you the correct techniques during the day, and who will share with you the history and wonders of this magnificent landscape which few get to see.
No matter your experience these rapids can provide quite challenging at times, requiring you to hold on sometimes, however that is all the fun of it.
