Kuranda Rail, Skyrail & Hartleys Crocodile Adventure
|Start your day with a transfer from your accommodation to Freshwater Station for check-in. Time then for an historical rail journey to Kuranda, enjoying breathtaking views across the cane fields of Cairns to the tropical rainforest of Kuranda.|
Upon arrival in Kuranda, there is limited free time to explore this quaint village.
At 11:30am, board Skyrail the world's most beautiful rainforest experience. There are 2 stops enroute to explore, including boardwalks and the CSIRO Interpretive Centre. Our coach is waiting at Caravonica Lakes to transfer you to Hartley's.
Hartley's Crocodile Adventures is the best place to see crocodiles in Tropical North Queensland! Then it's time to explore the remainder of the park. Highlights of the Park include the Wetlands Cruise, Crocodile Attack Show and Snake Show. Your return transfer departs at 4:50pm.
1 Day Daintree Dreaming

In the waters and mangroves of Cooya Beach north of Port Douglas, the Kubirri Warra brothers of Kuku Yalanji Cultural Habitat Tours follow the traditions of their ancestors by educating visitors about their traditional country. During this fun unique tour, the brothers teach their guests how to throw a spear, search and hunt for fish, mud crabs and mussels. Learn about bush tucker and medicine as they share some of their extensive knowledge of this special area and how they care for their country.
Enjoy morning tea of fresh made damper, tea/coffee as the Walker boys show and explain artifacts, tools, or even how to play a didgeredoo. We farewell the Kubirri Warra brothers as we continue north to the Daintree Village, for a 1 hour Daintree River Croc spotting cruise. Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch before we depart for Tranquility on the Daintree, a 450 acre secluded private property where the spectacular Niau Waterfalls await.
The Niau falls are a pristine natural wonder waiting for you to discover. You will see strange, primitive plants and learn about the original French settler family. Tour commences through bushland surrounding Blazing Saddles complex. Native Australian forest and rainforest surroundings provide interesting and adventurous trails and also many native animals and birds. Draw up on horse-back alongside our 18 acre billabong for a billy tea over a camp fire and the chance to see a croc in the wild!
