In 2017 Cairns State High School is 100 years young! To celebrate this milestone the school has organised a year of celebrations including:

Cairns High's Presentation Night traditionally celebrates students receiving awards for high achievement and excellence in academic, arts and sporting events. Students who have made significant contributions to improving the "quality of life" in both the school and the community are also be recognized in our centenary year.
