Dive or snorkel the Great Barrier Reef with the experts! With more than 30 years experience, a choice of 16 outer reef locations, modern, comfortable vessels, and a friendly professional team to look after you; you are in for an exceptional Great Barrier Reef adventure with Tusa Dive. Your day begins with a cruise to the outer reef on board our custom built catamaran Tusa 6. A crew to passenger ratio of 1:5 and a maximum 60 guests on board, ensures you will receive great service, while your captain will select the best two reef sites for the day's conditions. Activities include marine interpretation presentations, guided snorkel tours, introductory diving and certified diving (additional cost - see booking options) with up to 3 dives in the day available.

SCUBA DIVING CONDITIONS (additional cost - see booking options):
All divers (Introductory & Certified) must complete a medical questionnaire on board. A history of certain medical conditions and/or prescription medicines may preclude you from scuba diving, and a Doctors release (arranged prior to your trip) may be required. Tusa Dive recommends a wait of 24 hours after diving before flying or ascending over 300 metres.

Great Barrier Reef Adventure

The beauty of the Great Barrier Reef is yours to experience when you cruise from Cairns to our luxury 3 level pontoon on the Outer Reef. Escape into a world of surprises to experience the breathtaking beauty of the Outer Great Barrier Reef. From the comfort of the stable reef activity platform, this is the perfect base for swimmers and non-swimmers to explore. Snorkel and dive, visit the underwater observatory and cruise in a semi-sub, or just relax on the sundeck with a delicious buffet lunch.

The pontoon features undercover seating and tables, a sundeck, full bar facilities, swimming enclosure for children, change rooms with fresh water showers, and scuba diving facilities with a semi-submerged dive platform.

Ocean Freedom

Upolu Cay Reef Cruise

Upolu Cay is a naturally formed coral cay situated 30 kilometers from Cairns on the Great Barrier Reef and is the perfect location with protected, shallow waters from which to explore the reef snorkeling & scuba diving. Ocean Freedom cruises you to Upolu Cay in less than an hour. The first Great Barrier Reef tour to arrive at Upolu Cay, Ocean Freedom offers you over one hour to explore the Cay and surrounding reef uninterrupted. You may even want to try your first ever scuba dive, or for the certified diver, enjoy being guided by our qualified instructors on some of the best dive sites on the reef (additional cost).

At the second reef site, the amazing "Wonder Wall" on the outer edge of Upolu Reef, view many different types of hard and soft coral in addition to fans, giant clams, turtles, a huge diversity and abundance of reef fish of all sizes, nemos everywhere! Snorkel and dive here . Enjoy an informative adventure drift snorkel tour with our Marine Naturalist.

Silversonic

*Outer Reef Cruise

Departing daily from Port Douglas... When you step aboard the ultramodern Silversonic, you are set for an exhilarating day of fun, discovery and adventure in the natural wonderland of the Great Barrier Reef.

You'll have access to explore three stunning and exclusive reef sites at the renowned Agincourt ribbon reefs, each chosen for visual and ecological diversity for snorkel and scuba diving (additional cost) adventures. And you'll be doing it in comfort and style! With our friendly and knowledgeable crew, Silversonic has everything you'll need to experience an underwater world of colourful marine life in safety. Access to the water is so easy with the large submerged platform, relax on the spacious deck areas, there's hot freshwater showers, change rooms and even a licensed bar to share tales of your adventure on the homeward journey.

Certified and Introductory Scuba diving is also available for an additional cost. Please indicate in the comments if you are interested in a certified or introductory scuba dive.

*SCUBA DIVING CONDITIONS:

• All divers (Introductory & Certified) must complete a medical questionnaire on board. A history of certain medical conditions and/or prescription medicines may preclude you from scuba diving.
• Minimum age is 12 years.
• Flying after diving: A wait of 12 hours is recommended but preferably 24 hours, if doing multiple dives, before ascending to an altitude of 300 metres or greater.
